Directions for Use
Mixing: Mix with warm (100° - 105°) water at a rate of 1 tbsp of powder to 2 tbsp of water. Refrigerate unused solution promptly. Discard any unused solution after 24 hours.
Feeding: This product is intended for supplemental or intermittent feeding only. When possible, the puppy should nurse from the mother for a minimum of 2 days following birth.
Small breed puppies should be fed every 3-4 hours.
Large breed puppies should be fed every 6-8 hours.
Feed solution at or near body temperature (100° - 105°) at a rate of 2 tbsp (1 oz) of solution per 4 oz of body weight per day. The daily feeding amount should be divided evenly among the feedings.
Pregnant and Lactating Mothers: Mix Milk Replacement powder into daily food at the rate of 2 tsp per 5 lb. body weight until 2 weeks after whelping.
For Show and Working Dogs: Milk Replacement features special blended oils for coat conditioning. Sprinkle on dry dog food at a rate of 1 tbsp per 15 lb. of body weight up to twice a day.
Rewarding Milk Treat: Simply mix Milk Replacement with water and feed in a bowl, or pour into dry food to make a nutritious gravy. Mix at a rate of 1 tbsp powder to 2 tbsp of water. Feed at a rate of 1 ½ oz of solution per 15 lb. of body weight up to twice a day.
Flavor Enhancer: Sprinkle a small amount of Milk Replacement powder over your pet’s food to enhance the flavor. Great as a reward!
